移動基本 Ido Kihon
移動基本 Ido Kihon literally means "Moving Basics" or "Fundamental Techniques in Motion." It is the practice of performing karate's basic techniques while moving forward, backward, or changing direction, rather than standing in one place.
It develops proper footwork, balance, body mechanics, timing, power, and coordination, forming the essential link between basic techniques, kata, and kumite.
Purpose of Ido Kihon
